ERM Mike Quillid, CPESC, PMP, QSD <br /> 26 May 2023 <br /> Page 7 <br /> 4.9 Disposal of Contaminated Materials <br /> All investigation-derived waste generated during field activities will remain at the Site in labeled <br /> 55-gallon drums pending analysis prior to disposal. Decontamination water and groundwater <br /> purge water will be stored in separate containers from the soil boring cuttings. Container labels will <br /> identify thecontents as investigation-derived waste pending laboratory analysis,and will include a <br /> description of the contents and the date filled. Documentation regarding the containers, including <br /> the source of the materials, will be recorded in the field notebook. <br /> The waste materials will be profiled based on disposal contractor requirements. The waste will be <br /> transported from the facility by a registered waste hauler and disposed of at a facility approved to <br /> handle the materials. Below is the anticipated list of analyses for profile acceptance: <br /> ■ California Assessment Manual 17 metals by USEPA Methods 6010B/7471A/7470 <br /> ■ VOCs and TPH-g by USEPA Method 8260B <br /> ■ Semivolatile organic compounds by USEPA Method 8270 <br /> ■ TPH-d and TPH-mo by USEPA Method 8015M <br /> 5. DATA EVALUATION AND REPORTING <br /> Upon completion of all sampling activities,a final report detailing completion of the investigation <br /> will be prepared and submitted to RWQCB. The report will include a description of the <br /> investigation, including investigative methods and procedures, summary of the investigation <br /> results (including analytical data tables), an analysis of groundwater data, data QA/QC results, <br /> laboratory analytical reports, and figures and tables summarizing sample details and results. <br /> ERM will compare groundwater results to Tier 1 and Direct Exposure, Tap Water Non-cancer <br /> Endpoint ESLs. If soil samples are collected, results will be compared to applicable ESLs. <br /> 6. SCHEDULE <br /> Investigation planning and coordination will commence upon formal approval of this Workplan by <br /> the RWQCB.
