When asked about employee training when handling and being around hazardous waste, Service <br />Manager Miguel Ramos stated that employees do not receive regular training. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br />waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br />emergencies. 22 CCR 12 66262.16(b)(7)(C) <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure all employees who handle or work near hazardous waste are properly trained. Provide a <br />statement that employees, whose responsibilities include hazardous waste, will receive training to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br />This is a (Class 2) Violation. <br />1868 E.
