PACIFIC <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> GROUP INC _ <br /> June 13, 1997 <br /> Project 920-103 6A <br /> Mr Brett Hunter <br /> Chevron Products Company <br /> P O Box 6004 <br /> San Ramon, California 94583-0904 <br /> Re Case Closure Report <br /> Former Chevron Service Station 9-0342 <br /> 1347 South El Dorado Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Hunter <br /> On behalf of Chevron Products Company (Chevron), Pacific Environmental Group, Inc <br /> (PACIFIC) has prepared this Case Closure Report for the site referenced above Based <br /> on the results of a sensitive receptor survey, investigation of beneficial uses of <br /> groundwater, underground storage tank(UST) and product line analytical data collected <br /> during excavation activities, historical groundwater monitoring data collected since <br /> August 1990, and soil analytical results from boring and monitoring well installations, <br /> PACIFIC recommends closure of this site A Site Location Map and Site Map are <br /> included as Figures 1 and 2, respectively <br /> This Case Closure Report has been prepared in accordance with the Tri-Regional Board { <br /> Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground <br /> Tank Sites, and Appendix B, Requests for Closure Included as Attachment A is a <br /> completed Case Closure Checklist <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is a former Chevron service station located at 1347 South El Dorado Road, in <br /> downtown Stockton, California (Figures 1 and 2) Four USTs (three 10,000-gallon <br /> gasoline and one 1,000-waste oil) along with the associated product lines and product <br /> islands were removed from the site in September 1989 During these removal activities, <br /> three USTs were discovered Of the three USTs, two were subsequently removed on <br /> February 9, 1990 and one waste oil tank was removed on December 30, 1991 Land use <br /> in the site vicinity is primarily commercial The nearest surface water body is Mormon <br /> 1 1 <br /> 15 Sunrise Gold Circle SL11te M, Rancho Cordova California 95742 (916) 858-2350 FAX (916) 858-2355 <br /> i <br />
