The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed <br /> prior to acceptance of the application for a General Plan Amendment(San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, <br /> and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental <br /> Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San <br /> Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of <br /> the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per <br /> percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The project shall be served by a public sewer collection and treatment system constructed in <br /> conformance with the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department and the Department of Public Works. A waste water treatment plant study <br /> acceptable to the Department of Public Works and San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department is required prior to the approval of the improvements plans of any work <br /> within the site (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). <br /> FE99 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
