The work performed at the Site included collecting depth-to-water
measurements, purging and sampling eight wells, and submitting the groundwater samples to an
analytical laboratory for analysis. Field work was performed following the procedures outlined
in Attachment A.
Field and Analytical Methods
Initially, depth-to-water and free product measurements were collected from the eight wells by
a Brown and Caldwell field technician using an ail-water interface probe. The wells were then
purged of a minimum of three well volumes, or until evacuated, using a centrifugal pump. After
purging, each monitoring well was sampled by the Brown and Caldwell field technician using
a disposable bailer. Samples were then transferred to appropriate laboratory-supplied containers,
placed in a cooler containing crushed ice, and submitted under appropriate chain of custody to
CKY Incorporated (CKY) for analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) following EPA Methods 8015
Modified and 8020, respectively. CKY is located m Torrance, California and is certified by the
State of California Department of Health Services for analysis of hazardous materials
Groundwater sample collection records and chain-of-custody documentation for this quarterly
sampling event are included in Attachment A.
I '
' Eumis6s+n'rnyunioomis`r-imwPs
{ I II I Erv7rOnrnentEtiEng,neernnbRnd,Coosulhng Anal icatserv,ces I c 4
t
P 0 Bu) 804 W%L\LT CRUS CA 94)96 7220
3480 BLskIRk A4F\L L PLLas\T HILL CA 94523-9342 1
1
{10i 937 9010 Fir { 101 9137 9026 '
',I i
l 1 €i I I l
1 E Ili lig II' I 'tll 'l l ti { 'l l i° If I'!`I ,I Ali 'lig { I
'I y _ I i 1 I•.
