Unknown amount of diesel released from BAKER <br />derailed locomotive. No waterways or storm drains impacted. Spill occurred at <br />CCT located at 2201 W. Washington Street in Stockton. <br />Called Richard Grigsby (Operations Manager) at 209-466-6927. Unable to <br />estimate how much diesel was released. Train was fueled on Tuesday and has <br />been used ever since so probably not that much was released. Spill area is 5 foot <br />in diameter. Richard Grigsby said that once the locomotive is removed clean-up <br />will begin by facility staff today and continue on on Saturday and possibly Monday. <br />American Valley Waste will dispose of waste as hazardous waste. <br />Left for site at 12:15 pm. Arrived on site and met with Richard Grigsby of CCT. <br />Train is in the process of being put back on the tracks. Clean up will begin once <br />train is removed. Spill covered an approximate area of 10x5ft. An estimated 10 <br />gallons was released. No waterways or storm drains impacted. Spill impacted <br />ballast. Spill is contained with absorbent pads. Clean up will begin today and is <br />expected to be finished on 9/4/2021. Left site. <br />Completed complaint information. Printed complaint history.
