All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: MAJOR violation: the pool water lacks any detectable chlorine less than 0.2 ppm Cl). Immediately provide <br />chlorine of 2.0 to 10.0ppm Cl or face closure. <br />4 gallons of liquid chlorine was added on site. Re-checked chlorine level is 2.2ppm. <br />Continue to maintain the chlorine level of the pool at the range of 2-10ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: The all-in-one pool safety signage is on the ground. Properly hang the all-in-one pool safety signage on the <br />fence line where it is easily visible to swimmers. Correct today. <br />Repeat violation. <br />The diarrhea notice signage is faded. Obtain and hang new diarrhea notice signage by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.
