Ms. Amy Terrell
20 August 2007
Page 8
Sampling methods for the new wells will be the same methods used for the current monitoring
well network. The monitoring program for the expanded pilot test is summarized in Table 1.
Calscience Laboratories, Inc. of Garden Grove, California (Calscience) will perform all
groundwater analyses during the pilot test and for future monitoring events. Calscience has
extensive experience with analyses required for HRC remediation projects and is familiar with
the analytical methods and detection limits needed to properly evaluate the pilot test. Geosyntec
will review all data received from the laboratory for conformance to quality assurance and quality
control (QA/QC)protocols.
REPORTING
The field work described in this Work Plan will be documented in the next routine monitoring
report submitted to the RWQCB, which is anticipated to be the 2007 Annual Groundwater
Monitoring Report. The report will contain a summary of field activities and results of the
baseline groundwater testing. Data will be presented in tabular and graphical formats.
Evaluations of the post-injection performance of the expanded pilot test will be presented in the
quarterly monitoring reports as required by the MRP.
SCHEDULE
Fieldwork is tentatively scheduled to begin in early September 2007 in order to avoid seasonal
rains at the Site.
If you have any questions or comments on this work plan, please call either of the undersigned at
(510) 285-2700.
P:\PR12003REM\WFS\VER\VERF\:!007 Expanded Pilot Work Plan\Expanded_Pilot Test WP.doc
engineers I scientists I innovators
