MRP No. R5-2003-0815 will be amended to included MW-6R and MW-7
as part of the quarterly pilot study sampling. Prior to conducting the injections, both wells will
be sampled for the following suite of parameters to establish baseline conditions:
COCs
• Volatile organic compounds including 1,2-dichloropropane;
• Carbamate and urea pesticides;
• Dibromochloropropane and ethylene dibromide;
• 1,2,3-trichloropropane;
• Nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia;
Reactive Zone Indicators
• Metals—Total and dissolved iron and manganese;
• Anions—chloride, sulfate, and sulfide;
• Alkalinity- Carbonate, bicarbonate, and total as CaCO3;
• Metabolic acid breakdown products of HRC-X® — lactic, acetic, butyric,
propionic, and
pyruvic acids;
• Aerobic/anaerobic products of biodegradation — carbon dioxide, methane, propene,
ethane, and ethene; and
• Groundwater quality parameters — pH, dissolved oxygen, oxidation-reduction potential,
turbidity
P:\PRJ2003REM\WFS\VER\VERF\2.007 Expanded Pilot Work Plan\Expanded_Pilot Test WP.doc
engineers I scientists I innovators
