Waste materials shall be temporarily <br /> stored in drums or other leakproof containers after cleanup and during transport to disposal. <br /> Waste material shall be disposed off property at an approved site. - <br /> H. Archaeological and Paleontological Resources <br /> In the event that historic, archaeological, paleontological, or geologic resources are uncovered <br /> during grading, trenching or other excavation, earthwork within 100 feet of the resource shall be <br /> stopped. The City shall be notified immediately. The work shall be stopped until a Professional <br /> archaeologist who is certified by the Society of California Archaeology (SCA) and/or the Society <br /> of Professional Archaeology (SOPA) has evaluated the significance of the find and suggests <br /> appropriate mitigation measures, if they are deemed necessary. Appropriate action shall be <br /> taken to preserve the resource if possible. In the event that human remains are uncovered, <br /> excavation within 100 feet of the resource shall also be halted, the City and the Coroner shall be <br /> notified, and appropriate action will be taken to identify the significance of the find and preserve <br /> significant resources if possible. Contractor shall reschedule work activities and cooperate with — <br /> City and individuals employed by City to preserve significant resources. <br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT - <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work _ <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the <br /> Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> SECTION 01660 - EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEM PERFORMANCE AND TESTING <br /> This section contains requirements for the Contractor's performance in documenting all testing <br /> work required under this Contract. In addition, this section contains requirements for the <br /> Contractor's performance during installed performance testing of all mechanical, electrical, and <br /> instrumentation equipment and systems provided under this Contract. This section supplements <br /> but does not supersede specific testing requirements found elsewhere in the Contract <br /> Documents. <br /> A. Submittals <br /> Submittals shall be provided in accordance with Section 01300 Submittals and shall include the <br /> following information. <br /> 1. A testing schedule shall be submitted at least fourteen (14) working days prior to -- <br /> initiation of any testing. Contractor shall notify the Engineer at least seven (7) <br /> working days prior to any test. <br /> 2. Factory test results of equipment or system prior to commencement of the -- <br /> operational test. <br /> 3. Performance test results of equipment or system prior to commencement of the <br /> operational test. <br /> 4.
