Legibly mark to record actual depths, horizontal and vertical location of underground <br /> raceways, cables, and appurtenances referenced to permanent surface improvements. <br /> Failure of Contractor to keep current with the updating shall constitute grounds for withholding <br /> monies from partial payment estimates. <br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, _ <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the — <br /> Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> SECTION-01 730 —OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE INFORMATION -- <br /> Operating and maintenance (O&M) instructions and manuals shall be provided in accordance <br /> with this section and as required in the technical sections of these Contract Documents. O&M — <br /> information shall be provided for each maintainable piece of equipment, equipment assembly or <br /> subassembly, and material provided or modified under this Contract. O&M manuals must be <br /> submitted and accepted before on-site training may start. <br /> A. General <br /> For each equipment set (pumps, plug valves, control panels, security system, etc.) separate O <br /> & M information shall be submitted bound in labeled, three ring-binders. Binders shall be white <br /> with clear cover inserts. <br /> Five (5) copies of the specified O&M information shall be provided. For ease of identification, <br /> each brochure and manual shall be appropriately labeled with the equipment name and <br /> equipment number as it appears in these Contract Documents. The binders shall be provided <br /> with a table of contents and tab sheets to permit easy location of desired information. <br /> If standard brochures and manuals are used to describe O&M procedures, such brochures and _ <br /> manuals shall be modified to reflect only the model or series of equipment used on this project. <br /> Extraneous material shall be crossed out neatly or otherwise annotated or eliminated. <br /> O&M information shall contain the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the <br /> manufacturer, the nearest representative of the manufacturer, and the nearest supplier of the <br /> manufacturer's equipment and parts. In addition, the following items of information shall be — <br /> provided as applicable. <br /> B. Operating Instructions _ <br /> Specific instructions, procedures, and illustrations shall be provided for the following <br /> phases of operations. <br /> 1. List personnel hazards for equipment and list safety precautions for all <br /> operating conditions. <br /> 2.
