Cleanup <br /> Following completion of the operational testing period, the Contractor shall remove, clean, and <br /> replace all permanent: and temporary filters and strainers in all pipeline systems; replace all <br /> HVAC filters; dewater and clean all sumps; and dewater all process units for final inspection as <br /> a condition precedent to final acceptance. <br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the <br /> Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> SECTION 01720 — RECORD DRAWINGS <br /> A. Definitions <br /> Record drawings refer to those documents maintained and annotated by the Contractor during <br /> construction and are defined as: <br /> 1. A neatly and legibly marked set of contract drawings showing the final location of <br /> piping, equipment, electrical conduits, outlet boxes and cables; <br /> 2. Additional documents such as schedules, lists, drawings, and electrical and <br /> instrumentation diagrams; and <br /> 3. Contractor layout and installation drawings. <br /> B. Requirements <br /> When as-built configuration differs from that specified in the contract, the authorizing document <br /> for the deviation, request for information, change order, shop drawing, field order, etc. shall be <br /> clearly cited on the drawings as a comment. <br /> Unless otherwise specified, record drawings shall be full size and maintained in a clean, dry, <br /> and legible condition. Record documents shall not be used for construction purposes and shall <br /> be available for review by the Engineer during normal working hours at the Contractor's field <br /> office. At the completion of the work, prior to final payment, all record drawings shall be <br /> submitted to the Engineer. <br /> Marking of the drawings shall be kept current and shall be done at the time the material and <br /> equipment are installed.
