Application of painted traffic stripes shall be in accordance with Section 84-3.01 to 84- <br /> 3.05 of the State Standard Specifications. <br /> 3.09 PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br /> A. Once existing pavement is restored, the entire traffic lane or lanes containing the <br /> restored trench area shall be overlaid with 2 inches of new pavement as shown on the <br /> Drawings. <br /> B. Paving shall be as specified in Section 39 of the State Standard Specifications and these <br /> special provisions. <br /> C. Grind existing asphalt pavement at the locations and to the dimensions shown on the <br /> Drawings and as directed by the Engineer. <br /> D. Pavement grinding shall conform to the provisions of Section 42, Groove and Grind — <br /> Pavement, of the State Standard Specifications. <br /> E. A seal coat shall be applied to the surface of all newly paved surfaces and shall extend a _ <br /> minimum of 12 inches beyond the new pavement to existing paved surfaces and seal <br /> the joint between existing and new pavement. Seal coat shall consist of a mixture of <br /> asphaltic emulsion and added water and be applied in accordance with the requirements <br /> of State Standard Specification Section 37-1.01 through 37-1.05. <br /> 3.10 TESTING — <br /> The Engineer will perform laboratory and the initial field testing for density, moisture, and <br /> compaction of the asphalt base. The Contractor shall pay for re-testing of locations failing to <br /> meet the specified compaction in the initial test. Test laboratory shall provide written reports on <br /> the following test methods: <br /> Moisture, density, and compaction per ASTM D2922 and D3017. — <br /> SECTION 02617 POLYVINYL CHLORIDE (PVC) PIPING <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.01 SUMMARY <br /> A. This Section specifies SDR 26 (PVC) gravity sewer (non-pressure) pipe and fittings <br /> to be used for direct bury or sliplined within bore and jacked steel casing. <br /> 1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Procedures: Section 01300. <br /> B. Manufacturer's certificates of compliance with the specified standards and <br /> Contractor's layout drawings. — <br /> 1.04 STORAGE AND HANDLING <br /> Division III-73 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> July 2007 CIP Nos. 7468, 7589,7590 <br />
