C. Expansion or adhesive anchors set in holes drilled in the concrete after the <br /> concrete is placed will not be permitted in substitution for anchor bolts except <br /> where otherwise specified. Upset threads shall not be acceptable. <br /> 2.02 MATERIALS <br /> Anchor bolt materials shaPl be as specified in Table A unless otherwise specified. All equipment <br /> anchor bolts and anchor bolts that are submerged or above the water tank water surface shall be <br /> Type 316 stainless steel. <br /> Table A. This force shall be considered acting at the center of gravity of <br /> the piece under consideration. Calculations and shop drawings shall be submitted with the <br /> equipment submittal in accordance with Paragraph 05501 -1.03 and Section 01300 for all <br /> anchorage details. All calculations shall be made and signed by a civil or structural engineer <br /> currently registered in the State of California. <br /> PART 3 — EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 GENERAL <br /> Fieldwork, including cutting and threading, shall not be permitted on galvanized items. Dissimilar <br /> metals shall be protected from galvanic corrosion by means of pressure tapes, coatings or <br /> isolators. All stainless steel anchor bolts and fasteners shall be assembled with a stainless steel <br /> anti-seize compound such as molycote. <br /> 3.02 CAST-IN-PLACE ANCHOR BOLTS <br /> A.
