3.04 EXPANSION ANCHORS <br /> A. Use of expansion type anchors shall be subject to Conditions B-C and F-H <br /> specified in Paragraph 05501-3.03 and approval by the Engineer. Expansion <br /> anchors shall not be used without approval of the Engineer. <br /> B. The Contractor shall supply the Engineer with the current evaluation report from <br /> the International Conference of Building Officials for the particular brand of <br /> expansion anchors to be used. <br /> SECTION 09900 — COATING SYSTEMS <br /> PART 1 — GENERAL <br /> 1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> The work covered by this section consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material <br /> necessary to perform surface preparation and to furnish and apply all paint, protective coatings <br /> and finishes as specified herein and/or as indicated on the drawings. <br /> 1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> In conformance with Section 01300, submit the following specific information: <br /> A. Manufacturer's product data sheets. <br /> B. Complete data on each type of paint and primer. This shall be done whether or <br /> not the product is named herein. <br /> C. Manufacturer's published application instructions. <br /> D. Color chart for each paint for color selection by City. <br /> 1.03 DELIVERY AND STORAGE <br /> All materials shall be delivered to the site in the manufacturer's sealed containers. Each <br /> container shall be labeled by the manufacturer, and the label shall be intact upon delivery. <br /> Labels shall give the manufacturer's name, brand, type of paint, batch number, color of paint, <br /> date of manufacture, storage life and instructions for reducing. Job mixing or job tinting may be <br /> done when approved by the Engineer and for sample colors. <br /> The Contractor shall store all paint materials and equipment in a storage place protected from <br /> weather and excessive heat and cold. Necessary precautions shall be taken to reduce hazards <br /> to a minimum. Materials exceeding the storage life recommended by the manufacturer, shall be <br /> removed from the site. <br /> 1.04 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> July 2007 <br /> Division III-104 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590 <br />
