Submittals shall be provided in accordance with Section 01300 and shall include the following <br /> information. <br /> A. Product information, calculations, charts, or graphs to verify that the product <br /> provided meets the requirements set forth in this specification. <br /> B. Plan, cross section, and details showing proposed mounting for each size and <br /> typical application of gate. <br /> C. Parts list including materials of construction. <br /> D. Calculations justifying the size of stems, gate, slide reinforcing, and operators. <br /> E. Manufacturer's recommended installation instructions with detail drawings <br /> showing installation in the specific structure for each gate and operator. <br /> F. Anchor bolt design calculations and details. <br /> 1.03 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the <br /> Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> PART 2 — PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 ACCEPTABLE PRODUCTS <br /> A. Sluice gates manufacturers include Rodney Hunt, Waterman, or equal. <br /> B. Fabricated gates will not be acceptable. <br /> 2.02 EQUIPMENT <br /> A. General: <br /> 1. Sluice gates shall meet the requirements of Ab' WA C501 except as <br /> otherwise specified. Sluice gates shall be of the heavy-duty type. Frames <br /> shall be flat backs. <br /> 2. Sterns and stem guides shall be provided in accordance with AWWA <br /> 0501, Sections 3.11 and 3.12. Unless otherwise specified, gates shall <br /> have single rising stems. Stem couplings, where required, shall be of the <br /> stem material. Stem guides shall be of the split, bronze bushed, <br /> adjustable type.
