operations. Equipment shall not be stored outdoors without the approval of the <br /> Owner. Where equipment is stored or installed in moist areas, such as unheated <br /> buildings, provide an acceptable means to prevent moisture damage, such as a <br /> uniformly distributed heat source to prevent condensation. <br /> C. The elevation of the project sites are shown on Contract Civil Drawings. All <br /> equipment shall be derated as recommended by the manufacturer or in accordance <br /> with ANSI C37.30. <br /> D. The normal outdoor, not in direct sunlight, ambient temperature range of the job site <br /> will vary between 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. All equipment shall be rated to <br /> operate in these temperature ranges or provisions for adequate heating and cooling <br /> shall be installed, at no additional cost to Owner. <br /> 1.09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> A. Electrical and Instrumentation at the NEI Tank Site (Bid Item 25)will be paid for on a <br /> lump sum basis. Electrical and Instrumentation at the MacArthur Pump Station Site <br /> (Bid Item 26) will be paid for on a lump sum basis. <br /> B. Measurement for lump sum work will be based on the percentage of work completed <br /> as determined by the Engineer, and the detailed schedule or breakdown of lump <br /> sum items as approved by the Engineer. <br /> C. The contract lump sum price paid for Electrical and Instrumentation will include full <br /> compensation for doing all the work involved in electrical and instrumentation, <br /> SCADA, and control system modifications, and appurtenant facilities. Work includes <br /> all electrical and instrumentation work all as necessary for completion of the work, all <br /> work not included in another bid item, complete in place, as shown on the contract <br /> plans, as specified in the technical specifications, and no additional compensation <br /> will be allowed. <br /> 1.10 CHANGE ORDER PRICING <br /> A. All change order pricing by Contractor or System Supplier shall be broken out into <br /> the following minimum categories: <br /> 1. Labor per hour listed per discipline, i.e. Engineer, Drafter, Estimator, <br /> Programmer, Secretarial, etc. <br /> 2. Materials and equipment itemized per component and quantity. <br /> 3. Rentals, travel, per diem, etc. <br /> 4. Tax, <br /> 5. Shipping. <br /> 6. Overhead and profit. <br /> B. Lump sum change order pricing is not acceptable. <br /> C. If Contractor or System Supplier refuse to provide a change order with broken out <br /> pricing, the Engineer reserves the right to obtain independent estimates from other <br /> Contractors er System Suppliers.
