changes shall be made by original programmer within five (5) working days after <br /> notification in writing by Engineer. Failure of programmer to respond and make <br /> requested program changes within these five (5) working days will result in Owner <br /> hiring another programmer and backcharging the Contractor$100.00 for each hour <br /> of the other programmer's time plus travel expenses. All programming configuration <br /> changes shall be performed by the original programmer and shall be made as <br /> directed by Engineer. None of the hours shall be used for documentation, <br /> paperwork, travel, overhead, etc. that are not related to programming changes <br /> without written approval from Engineer. All hours not used shall be allocated for <br /> additional PLC program changes as directed by Owner during the one year warranty <br /> period. <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION - <br /> 3.01 ELECTRICAL WORKMANSHIP <br /> A. All work in this Section shall conform to the codes and standards outlined herein. _ <br /> B. The Electrical Contractor shall employ personnel that are skilled and experienced in <br /> the installation and connection of all elements, equipment, devices, instruments, <br /> accessories, and assemblies. All installation labor shall be performed by qualified - <br /> personnel who have had experience on similar projects. Provide first class <br /> workmanship for all installations. <br /> C. Ensure that all equipment and materials fit properly in their installations and all doors <br /> open a minimum of 90°. <br /> D. Perform any required work to correct improper installations at no additional expense _ <br /> to the Owner. <br /> E. The Engineer reserves the right to halt any work that is found to be substandard or <br /> being installed by unqualified personnel. <br /> 3.02 ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION METHODS, GENERAL <br /> A. All wiring shall be neatly bundled and laced with plastic tie-wraps, anchored in place - <br /> by screw attached retainer.Where space is available, such as in electrical cabinets, <br /> all wiring shall be run in slotted plastic wireways or channels with dust covers. <br /> Wireways or channels shall be sized such that the wire fill does not exceed 60%. _ <br /> Wires carrying 100 volts and above shall be physically separated from lower voltage <br /> wiring by using separate bundles or wireways with sufficient distance to minimize the <br /> introduction of noise, crossing only at 90 degree angles. Tie-wraps shall be T & B _ <br /> TY-RAP's, or approved equal. <br /> B. All devices shall be permanently labeled and secured in accordance with <br /> subsections labeled "NAMEPLATES AND TAGS". <br /> C. All field wires and panel wires have wire markers as specified in the "WIRE" <br /> subsection. <br /> D. All components associated with a particular compartment's or enclosure's function <br /> shall be mounted in that compartment or enclosure. <br /> E.
