to be made for worker protection from the hazard of caving ground during this excavation, of <br /> such trench or trenches. If such plan varies from the shoring system standards established by <br /> the Construction Safety orders of the Division of Industrial Safety, the plan shall be prepared by <br /> a registered civil or structural engineer employed by the Contractor, and all costs therefore shall <br /> be included in the price named in the Contract for completion of the work as set forth in the <br /> Contract Documents. Nothing in this Section shall be deemed to allow the use of a shoring, _ <br /> sloping, or other protection system less effective than that required by the Construction Safety <br /> Orders.
