ADDENDUM NO. 3 <br /> Date: August 24, 2007 — <br /> Plan Holders of: Northeast Industrial Phase II Water and Sewer Project <br /> CIP 7468, 7589, 7590 <br /> All prospective bidders are hereby notified that modification and/or changes are to be <br /> made to the specifications, plans and proposal documents for this project, as entitled _ <br /> above. The following items indicate additions and/or deletions to the above referenced <br /> documents, and are hereby made a part thereof and are subject to all applicable <br /> requirements there under as if originally shown and/or specified. <br /> Bidders must sign and attach one (1) copy of this Addendum No. 3 to his/her proposal <br /> as acknowledgment of receipt of these instructions, and that said Addendum was <br /> properly evaluated in his/her proposal. Any proposal not in compliance with this _ <br /> requirement may be rejected. <br /> The documents of this project are hereby changed as follows: <br /> A. Specifications: <br /> I TEM NO. 1 <br /> Division I, Page 1, Third paragraph from the bottom of the page shall be <br /> modified so as to be consistent with Division I, Page 4, Paragraph (g), such that <br /> no bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) <br /> calendar days after the date of the bid opening. <br /> ITEM NO. 2 <br /> Division II, Section 4, "Permits, Drawings and Specifications", third paragraph -- <br /> shall be amended to read: <br /> The City is in the process of obtaining a San Joaquin County <br /> encroachment permit for work outside the City Limits. Portions of <br /> Addendum #3 reflect comments and modifications to the Contract <br /> Documents required by the County as encroachments permit _. <br /> conditions. The City will complete the encroachment permit <br /> process with the County and pay all corresponding plan review and <br /> inspection costs associated with the encroachment permit. With <br /> the exception of the County Encroachment Permit, the Contractor <br /> shall procure all other permits and licenses, pay all charges and fees, <br /> and give all notices necessary for lawful prosecution of the work. All <br /> permits, licenses, and other authorizations shall be secured in sufficient <br /> time to prevent delays to the work.
