Division II, Section 11, "Construction Staging / Field Office Site", shall include the <br /> following additional paragraph: <br /> Contractor access through fences and locked gates at the Chrisman <br /> Water Tank site will be limited to the time during which work is actively <br /> being performed at the site. For security reasons, staging and storage <br /> of materials will not be permitted within the fenced area of the Chrisman <br /> Water Tank. However, the contractor may use the area immediately <br /> west of the tank site entrance, between the fence and the Chrisman <br /> Road street right-of-way, for staging and storage of materials. <br /> ITEM NO. 4 <br /> Division III — Special Provisions, Section 1, "Traffic Control", Page 1, Seventh <br /> Paragraph, shall be modified to read: <br /> The Contractor shall be responsible for keeping the City and County <br /> Police Department, California Highway Patrol based out of Tracy, and <br /> City and County Fire Departments informed of obstructions and lane <br /> closures to either public or private roads caused by his operations. <br /> ITEM NO. 5 <br /> Division III — Special Provisions, Section 1, "Traffic Control", Page 2, Second <br /> Paragraph, shall be modified to read: <br /> The Contractor shall provide as a minimum, one open traffic lane with a <br /> minimum width of 12-feet, at all times and provide access into private <br /> driveways, and provide access to local and emergency traffic through the <br /> project area. <br /> ITEM NO. 6 <br /> Division III -- Special Provisions, Section 1, "Traffic Control", Page 2, Seventh <br /> Paragraph, shall be replaced with the following: <br /> Working hours shall be in accordance with Division II, Section 12, <br /> "Hours of Construction" unless otherwise restricted or modified by <br /> requirements stipulated on Sheet C113, "Traffic Control", of the <br /> Plans. <br /> ITEM NO. 7' <br /> Division III -- Special Provisions, Section 3, "Water Transmission Mains", Page <br /> III-9, following the Tenth Paragraph, an additional paragraph shall be added to <br /> read: <br /> Flushing of the water main on 11th Street may be accomplished by <br /> creating a bermed detention basin area at the tank site and allowing <br /> water to collect and percolate within it.
