DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> CONTRACT NO. 10-OM7104 <br /> 10-SJ-5-R36.6 <br /> Sealed proposals for the work shown on the plans entitled: <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA;DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION;PROJECT PLANS FOR CONSTRUCTION <br /> ON STATE HIGHWAY IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY IN AND NEAR STOCKTON ON ROUTE 5 AT FRENCH <br /> CAMP ROAD UNDERCROSSING <br /> will be received at the Department of Transportation, 1120 N Street, Room 0200, MS#26, Sacramento, CA 95814, until <br /> 2 o'clock p.m. on August 7,2007,at which time they will be publicly opened and read in Room 0100 at the same address. <br /> Proposal forms for this work are included in a separate book entitled: <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA;DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION;PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION ON STATE HIGHWAY IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY IN AND NEAR STOCKTON ON ROUTE <br /> 5 AT FRENCH CAMP ROAD UNDERCROSSING <br /> General work description: Install Traffic Signal <br /> This project has a goal of 3 percent disabled veteran business enterprise(DVBE)participation. <br /> No prebid meeting is scheduled for this project. <br /> Bids are required for the entire work described herein. <br /> At the time this contract is awarded,the Contractor shall possess either a Class A license or one of the following Class C <br /> licenses: C-10. <br /> The Contractor must also be properly licensed at the time the bid is submitted, except that on a joint venture bid a joint <br /> venture license may be obtained by a combination of licenses after bid opening but before award in conformance with <br /> Business and Professions Code,Section 7029.1. <br /> This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, <br /> Section 12990. <br /> This project is subject to the State Small Business Preference, Non-Small Business Subcontractor Preference, and <br /> California Company Reciprocal Preference. <br /> Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated <br /> as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions,submitted after bid opening,will not be treated as a <br /> bid protest. <br /> The Caltrans Central Region Construction Office is located at 855 M Street, Suite 200, Fresno, CA 93721.
