September 2010 <br /> RE: CITY OF STOCKTON DELTA WATER SUPPLY PROJECT <br /> DAVIS ROAD, NORTH OF EIGHT MILE ROAD <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> 1. Any designs for traffic plating shall be submitted for approval to San Joaquin County, stamped <br /> and signed by a registered engineer, at least 30 days in advance of the road closure. <br /> 2. Roadway areas subject to pavement cuts shall receive a 0.12-foot asphalt concrete overlay from <br /> the centerline to the edge of the traveled way. If the pavement is disturbed on both sides of the <br /> centerline,then the entire roadway(or affected lanes) shall be resurfaced. <br /> 3. All pavement conforms shall be ground to provide a flush surface. Contractor shall grind and <br /> overlay within 10 working days of permanent trench paving. Shoulder areas shall be brought up <br /> to the finish grade as directed by the County. <br /> 4. Final paving for trench repair or road resurfacing shall be per Caltrans' specifications and shall <br /> not occur between November 1 and March 31 unless authorized by the County. <br /> S. Where the existing road structural section is below standard, a minimum section of 3 inches of <br /> asphalt concrete over 8 inches of aggregate base shall be required, except where specific road <br /> structural sections apply. <br /> 6. Final trench paving shall be placed on temporarily surfaced trench prior to re-opening of Davis <br /> Road. <br /> 7. Trench backfill compaction specifications contained within the geotechnical report by <br /> Kleinfelder, Inc. shall apply within County right-of-way. <br /> 8. Trenches shall be maintained in a smooth and even condition to the satisfaction of the County <br /> throughout the project limits at all times. <br /> 9. Above ground facilities(blowoffs, above ground corrosion protection items, monitoring test <br /> stations, etc.) shall be located outside or as close as possible to the County right-of-way. <br /> 10. All pipe and pipeline-related facilities including, but not limited to,valves, utility boxes and <br /> vaults, and frames and covers shall be maintained by City of Stockton. <br /> 11. The City of Stockton shall be responsible for any and all costs associated with the relocation <br /> and/or adjustment of these facilities as determined by the County at City's expense. <br /> 1 of 3 <br />
