Special Conditions for -2- <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br /> 12. All future maintenance of the pipeline and related facilities within the County right-of-way <br /> will require a San Joaquin County Encroachment Permit. <br /> 13. Contractor shall submit an exhibit displaying existing roadway and drainage grades within <br /> the construction area prior to construction. Any repair to roadways and adjacent areas <br /> shall match existing grades. Any proposed grade changes shall receive prior approval <br /> from County. <br /> 14. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure existing drainage improvements convey <br /> drainage during and after construction and match pre-construction conditions. <br /> 15. All traffic control plans shall adhere to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices <br /> (MUTCD). <br /> 16. Lane closures and flagging within County jurisdiction shall be limited to work hours <br /> between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm except where noted on the traffic control plans or <br /> approved by County engineer. <br /> 17. Two-way traffic shall be maintained during non-working hours with excavated areas <br /> backfilled or plated. During working hours, two-way traffic control shall be maintained <br /> with one lane open and appropriate flaggers. <br /> 18. Changeable Message Signboard (CMS) for traffic information as shown on traffic control <br /> plans are required and should be in place at least 1 weeks prior to construction. <br /> 19. Any areas where parking is to be restricted shall have signs noticing the time period <br /> placed at least 48 hours in advance of the work. <br /> 20. School buses shall be passed through the work zone with minimal delay. <br />
