Construction activity <br /> includes clearing, grading, excavation, stocicpiling, and reconstruction of existing facilities involving <br /> removal and replacement. Construction activity does not include routine maintenance such as, <br /> maintenance of original line and grade, hydraulic capacity, or original purpose of the facility. <br /> This project is not subject to the requirements of the Industrial Storm Water General Permit(97-03 DWQ) <br /> because the intended use does not meet the definition of any of the 10 described facilities in Attachment 1 <br /> of the Permit. In addition, there are no industrial type activities, materials, or equipment exposed to storm <br /> .water. <br /> This project is not subject to the requirements of the City of Stockton and County of San Joaquin <br /> SWQCCP 2010 because the project does not meet the definition of a priority project as defined in the 8 <br /> items listed in the Plan. Specifically, the project does not add 5,000 sf of impervious area to the site, does <br /> not create housing, is not a commercial development, is not an auto repair shop, is not a restaurant,does <br /> not include 5,000sf of parking lot, does not include 5,000 sf of roadway, and is not a gas station. <br /> The 10 Items of Site Information required by the SWQCCP are as follows: <br /> I. Project is not a priority project <br /> 2. Project location is on a site containing 1.03 acres <br /> 3. Drainage area where storm water will be collected is 0.98 acres <br /> 4. Proposed addition of impervious area is 1,620 square feet <br /> 5. Discharge will be to the street storm drain system <br /> 6. Watershed is the Calaveras River <br /> 7. Pollutants of concern are from Organic Enrichment <br /> 8. Land use is for a water utility building. No known pollutants associated with this land use. <br /> 9. Activities at the site shall be a daily visit by a operations person to check pump and sodium <br /> hypochlorite injection system inside the building. <br /> 10. Site physical condition is flat with soil Type D (clay). <br /> Stormwater Quality Control Plan <br /> - Plan is to minimize the transport of sediments to the street storm system <br /> - Drainage catch basins will include a woven fabric mesh type filter that is removable for cleaning <br /> or easily replaced. The filter fabric will be equivalent to a US 40 sieve in filter effectiveness. <br /> - Drainage catch basins will be overflow weir type where the bottom of the basin is at least 6 <br /> inches below the outflow flow line so that each basin acts as a small detention basin. Each basin <br /> will also act as a small infiltration basin as the bottom surface of the basin will contain a hole for <br /> Iow flows to drain out into the crushed rock below <br /> Maintenance Plan <br /> - Filter inserts from the catch basins will be removed and cleaned or replaced once per year with <br /> appropriate disposal of contents <br /> - Catch basins will be cleaned of accumulated debris once per year with appropriate disposal of <br /> contents <br />
