If you look at the cross sections 1-1 and
2-2 on sheet 3 you can see he's showing the existing fog line. I've also added the bellhole
locations in red. The County's questions have been answered below in red.
Please note:
From N. Lower Sacramento Rd going west approximately 3,220', there is an existing ditch
on the south side of Armstrong Rd., see section 1-1 on sheet 3. Because the ditch is so
close to the edge of pavement, we will be disturbing the pavement with our service bellholes
up to the fog line. From this point to our tie-in, at approximately 1950' east of Davis Rd.,
we will be in the fog line 2'-3' with the service bellholes, see section 2-2 on sheet 3.
Please verify with the County, their repaving requirements, if we stay within the fog line and
if we extend beyond the fog line by a foot or two. We will make every effort to stay within
the fog line if it means we don't have to repave half the street.
Finally, this job has been routed and approved in EDRS. We've made some significant
changes to the drawings, at the west tie-in and added the information on the cross
sections, and if we have to add some significant money for repaving, we will have to do a
revision on the job and reroute for approval.
Please forward the information below and the attached drawings to the County. Hopefully
they will be able to process the permit and tell us what they expect us to repave. If you
have any questions please give me or Marlon a call.
Thanks so much,
Dee
i
