Our previous agreements for addressing the conflict between levee work and county roads
involved the District providing the sub base and a dustcoat and the County resurfacing with
a triple chip seal, striping etc. In the case of the Jones Tract levee work the District made
a financial contribution to the cost of the chip seal in lieu of installing the dustcoat. In this
case it could be a contribution to the cost of paving.
We would like to reach accord with the County as soon as possible as we must give
direction to the contractor the first part of next week. The ability of the District to address
the problems in this area of the levee will be lost if this change cannot be made at this
time.
If you have any questions please contact me via email at
greenmountaindom@hotmail.com of phone 209 649 4555.
Thank you.
s ,
Dominick Gulli PE, PLS
Rd 684 District Engineer.
Attach: Design Drawings GIME Dated 3/15/13 P1,X1-5,V1
Draft Pavement Design KSN Dated 3/26/13 1-5
CC: Jim Stone SJC Public works jstone@sjgov.org
Dante Nomellini RD684 Secretary
Chris Neudeck KSN Engineers cne_udeck aksninc.com
Steve Sinnock RD 2030 Engineer ssinnock(c),ksninc.com
George Hartman RD 2030 Secretary gvlaw@gmail.com
