(Arcadis) is submitting this Workplan for Well Destruction (work plan) <br />for the Former Chevron Service Station No. 94054 located at 2103 Country Club <br />Boulevard, Stockton, California (the Site; Figure 1). This work plan was prepared <br />at the request of the CVRWQCB (RWQCB) in a letter dated December 2, 2020 <br />(Attachment 1). <br />SITE BACKGROUND <br />The Site is a former Chevron service station located on the northwestern corner <br />of the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Country Club Boulevard in a mixed <br />commercial and residential area of Stockton, California (Figure 1). The Site is <br />currently a fenced vacant lot that is used as parking for an auto supply store that <br />borders the Site to the west. <br />The service station operated from approximately 1962 to 1986. Former station <br />facilities included a station building, pump islands, two 4,000-gallon steel <br />underground storage tanks (USTs), two 3,000-gallon steel USTs, one 2,000- <br />gallon steel UST, one 550-gallon waste-oil tank, and associated piping (Figure <br />2).
