Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />4. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />6. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour prior notice to the <br />County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />7. The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />8. Hand grinding of roadway surfacing will be required at locations where existing highway and utility facilities are within the Cold Plane Pavement and Pavement Repair limits. <br />DPayment <br />for hand grinding will be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Cold Planing Pavement. <br />1 <br />m <br />9. All New Curb and Gutter must conform to the existing flowline elevations with a straight grade between conforms unless otherwise noted. <br />10. Prior to commencing any work, it will be the Contractor's responsibility to have each utility company locate in the field their main service lines and laterals. The Contractor must <br />mnotify <br />members of the Underground Service Alert (U.S.A.) 48 hours in advance of performing excavation work by calling the toll free number (1-800-642-2444) or 811 <br />0 <br />11. Core data is unavailable; however, anticipate varying layers of base and roadway surfacing materials within the sectional planing depth of the existing roadway. <br />12.
