An intonation gv y ",� 1W* 00 Vf s* <br />2. <br />Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. <br />Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving has been completed. <br />4. <br />Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. <br />Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6. <br />Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />7. <br />All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of HMA pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted onto <br />the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers. <br />8. <br />Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be confined to <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />9. <br />The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24-hour notice to the County. All <br />10. <br />testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re -testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />-d <br />cn <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />11. <br />The road will be closed to through traffic during construction: however, residential access will be maintained at all times. <br />12. <br />Prior to commencing any work, it will be the Contractor's responsibility to have each utility company locate in the field their main service lines and laterals. The Contractor must <br />notify members of the Underground Service Alert(U.S.A.) 48 hours in advance of performing excavation work by calling the toll free number (1-800-642-2444) or 811. <br />M <br />13. <br />Contact Road Maintenance at (209) 468-3074 and the Engineer at least 48 hours in advance of delivering planed/removed roadway materials.
