Placement of asphalt concrete overlay shall not <br />begin until the asphalt concrete used in Pavement <br />Repair and Asphalt Concrete (Misc. Areas) has <br />been in place for 18 hours. <br />2. Frames and covers for maintenance holes, water valves, <br />and monument boxes shall be adjusted to Finished Grade. <br />Refer to Improvement Std. No. CW -R36, CW -M1. <br />3. Existing drainage facilities are to remain in place. <br />The contractor shall conduct his work as not to <br />modify or obstruct the existing drainage, unless <br />otherwise shown on the plans. <br />4. Asphalt Concrete shall be placed in one lift. Pavement <br />Reinforcing Fabric is to be placed on the existing <br />pavement. <br />5. Contractor is to plane all Asphalt Concrete Pavement <br />adjacent to Gutter lip to a depth of 0.10' below the <br />gutter lip. Refer to LONGITUDINAL PLANING DETAIL <br />this sheet.
