<br />EQUIVALENT PLASTIC SHEETING VAPOR BARRIER SHALL BE INSTALLED TO SEPARATE
<br />THE UREA FOAM INSULATION FROM THE INTERIOR SPACE.
<br />d. IF EXTERNAL INSULATION IS APPLIED TO HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM DUCTS, IT
<br />SHALL CONFORM TO THE THERMAL RESISTANCE REQUIREMENTS OF SECT.1005 OF THE

<br />e. IF EXTERNAL INSULATION IS APPLIED TO FIRED WATER HEATERS IT SHALL HAVE A

<br />f. IF AN UNFIRED HOT WATER STORAGE TANK IS INSTALLED, THE TANK SHALL BE
<br />INSULATED TO A THERMAL RESISTANCE OF AT LEAST R-12.
<br />9. PIPING MUST BE INSULATED CONSISTENT WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
<br />2-5312. PIPING WITHIN PACKAGE HVAC EQUIPMENTS NEED NOT BE INSULATED.
<br />h. CEILING INSULATION MUST BE INSTALLED FAR ENOUGH TO THE OUTSIDE WALLS TO
<br />COVER THE TOP PLATE AND ACCESS PANELS.
<br />INFILTRATION
<br />a. MANUFACTURED DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL HAVE AIR INFILTRATION RATES CERTIFIED
<br />BY MANUFACTURER AS NOT EXCEEDING THOSE SHOWN IN TABLE 2-53J OF THE
<br />CALIFORNIA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE. LABELS INDICATING TESTING AND COMPLIANCE WITH

<br />THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF 75%, AS CERTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER, BASED ON THE

<br />COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY OF 75% AT MAXIMUM RATED OUTPUT, AS CERTIFIED BY

<br />e. FAN TYPE WALL FURNACES AND CENTRAL FURNACES SHALL NOT BE EQUIPPED WITH
