Abandon well under permit from San Joaquin County Health Dept. <br />2. Remove all structures, equipment and foundation from the site <br />(asphalt concrete can remain) <br />3. Remove the pressure tank, seal openings and deliver, along with all <br />of the above ground valves, to San Joaquin Co. Maintenance Division <br />in Stockton. Contact Maintenance Division for delivery location site. <br />4. Remove electrical service. <br />5. Remove all exposed piping. Cap existing ACP discharge line. <br />6. Leave site in a neat and clean condition. <br />7. The project owner is SUNNYSIDE ESTATES MAINTENANCE DISTRICT. See Section 1 of <br />Specific tion for Inspection Responsibility. <br />2. WORK S LL CONFORM to City of Lodi Public Improvement Design Standards, <br />Construe on Specifications and Standard Plans unless specifically shown otherwise <br />on these plans. <br />3. STANDAR PLANS applicable to this project include: 402, 403, 405, 408, 409, 413, <br />415B, 5 A and 505. <br />4. EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES shall be protected. Utility agencies shall <br />be notified and allowed to mark their utilities in the field at least 48 hours before <br />excavation. Completeness and accuracy of existing utility locations shown in these <br />plans are not guaranteed. Call "USA" (800) 227-2600. <br />5. EXCAVATION SAFETY REQUIREMENTS include submitting a CAL OSHA permit or letter <br />of notification to the City before commencing excavations over five feet deep. Refer to City <br />Construction Specification 6-19.04 "Excavation Safety" for additional requirements. <br />6. ALL TESTING for leakage or overdeflection shall be witnessed by a Primary Inspector. <br />7. The Contractor shall replace all damaged traffic striping, markings and legends per <br />State of Califronia Department of Transportation (Cal Trans) Standards. <br />8. The Contractor is responsible for compaction testing during trench backfill. The number <br />of tests will be as required by the inspecting agency. <br />9. The water pipe in Sunnyside Estates is asbestos cement pipe. All work on this pipe <br />shall be in accordance with applicable government regulations. <br />ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES <br />10. A PRE—CONSTRUCTION MEETING shall be scheduled by the County prior to construc— <br />tion. The Contractor's job superintendent and all major sub—contractors shall attend. <br />11. BEDDING for all pipe lines shall conform to City of Lodi Standard Plan 501, 501—A, <br />501—B and 501—C unless otherwise shown. <br />12. WATER used in any phase of construction, such as backfill compaction, dust control, <br />testing or other work herein required, shall be included in the unit price or lump <br />sum bid for the respective item of construction or items of work. <br />13. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE all necessary precautions to keep dust to a minimum. <br />Cost to be included in other items of work. See Section 10 of the Spoecification <br />for Inspection Responsibility. <br />14. Lower Sacramento Road is not to be closed. No gpen trenches except at the time of <br />work. Use steel plates or backfill with A.C. cap. <br />15. Two—way traffic shall be maintained on Lower Sacramento Road at all times. Kirsten <br />Court may be restricted to one—way during construction. <br />DUST CONTROL REQUIREMENTS <br />See Section 10 of the Specification for Inspection Responsibility. <br />CONSTRUCTION WATER <br />Construction water is not available from Sunnyside Estates Maintenance District, The <br />Contractor shall arrange for another source of water. The cost of construction water <br />shall be indicated in various other bid items. <br />Potable water is available from Sunnyside Estates for disinfection and testing only. <br />Chlorinated water may be disposed of by spreading on the upland area of the "G" <br />Basin Site. <br />SITE INSPECTION <br />All bidders shall examine the construction site prior to bidding. <br />INDEMNITY CLAUSE <br />The Contractor agrees that he shall assume sole and complete responsibility for job site <br />conditions during the course of construction of this project; that this requirement shall <br />apply continuously and not be limited to normal working hours; and that the Contractor <br />shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Owner and the project engineer from any <br />and all claims of litigation, damages and attorney's fees for personal or property damage of <br />whatever nature which are claimed to have occurred during the term of this project. <br />These Improvement Plans have been prepared with the intent that the firm of Baumbach & Piazza, Inc. will <br />be performing the construction staking for the complete project.
