That each and all of the petitioners °;hose names are signed to this petition,,are freeholders.of Dent Township,and of Dent Road District ,in said Township,and that each of said petitioners are taxable therein for road purposes. econt�. That on or about the I5th day of April, I863,an ` order was made by the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County, State of California,.laying out a public road in said Dent Township., as follows,to-r:it: Beginning at the "Zone Tree House",and running in a direct line towards "Burney's Ferry",until it reaches the County Line as appears in Boob "B" Folio 487 of the Ifinutes of Your H.on, Board, Fourth. That the route now traveled by the public is entire- ly different and at Variance with the one described in the order heretofore referred to. Fifth. That your petitioners do therefore most respect -full- y request- and urge that your Hon.
