Boggs, for the conveyance <br />of said right-of-wgy, now on file in the Clerkfs Office in said <br />County, which is hereby referred to and made a .part hereof. Said <br />right -of -way, -from the intersection of West and Washington Streets, <br />shall continue easterly along said Washington Street to Stockton <br />Street; thence northerly along Stockton Street from its intersection <br />with Washington Street to the railroad bridge on Main Street. Said <br />proposed road intersects the San Joaquin River near the point where <br />the half section line running east and west through Section Eight <br />(8) , Township One (1) North, Range Six (6) Iaot, M, D. B. & M. <br />intersects the said San J'oaquizAiver; thence across a drawybridge <br />to be placed across and at right angles to the channel of said San <br />Joaquin River at said point of intersection to the west bank of said <br />San Joaquin River; thence in a westerly direction along said Quarter <br />Section Line in a 40 foot strip to the east end of the public road <br />now on Rough & Ready Island. (Said proposed road immediately west <br />of the San Joaquin River for- a distance of about 946 feet passes <br />through and over the land of Mr. W. C. Daggett; thence along and <br />over the north line of his land for a distance of about 923 feet to <br />the east end 'of said public road on said Rough & Ready Island) . <br />Said proposed road is intended to continue thence in a westerly <br />direction along said Quarter Section Line over said public road.that <br />now runs east and west along said Quarter Section Line on said <br />Rough & <br />Ready Island <br />and utilize and adopt said <br />public <br />road <br />as a <br />part of <br />the proposed <br />system of new roads; thence <br />along <br />said <br />Quarter. <br />Section Line from the west end of said public road on said Rough & <br />Ready Island along and over the south side of the lands of Mr. Cyrus <br />Moreing do a 40 foot strip to the east bank of Burns Out Off; thence <br />across a draw bridge to be placed across and at right -angles to the <br />channel of said Burns Cut Off to the south bank of said Burns Cut <br />Off; thence around the south bank of said Burns Cut Off down stream <br />-2- <br />3 <br />
