The creek was dry during this investigation. There is only 3 feet of
freeboard in all spans due to the presence of silt build-up in all spans. The spans were completely inspected from the left and right sides
with the aid of binoculars and a flashlight. All visible elements were fully inspected. A complete routine inspection was performed.
SUBSTRUCTURE
There is silt build-up below all spans. There is up to 3 feet of freeboard in all spans. In addition, there is heavy vegetation growing in the
creek on both sides of the structure. (See Photo 5). There are work recommendations on file to remove the silt and vegetation.
INSPECTION COMMENTARY
TYPE OF MEMBRANE
TYPE OF DECK PROTECTION
DECK STRUCTURE TYPE
TYPE OF WEARING SURFACE
WEARING SURFACE / PROTECTIVE SYSTEM
2194AVERAGE DAILY TRAFFIC
2013 YEAR OF ADT
16 KMBYPASS, DETOUR LENGTH
5 %(109) TRUCK ADT %
2180FUTURE ADT
2044YEAR OF FUTURE ADT
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE 5: NOT ELIGIBLE FOR NRHP
6-BITUMINOUS
0-NONE
0-NONE
1-CIP CONCRETE
DECK STRUCTURE INFORMATION
10.4 M
10.2 M
DECK AND ROADWAY
LANES 2
55
0-NOT ON NHS
PARALLEL STRUCTURE
TEMPORARY STRUCTURE
DEFENSE HIGHWAY
FUNCTIONAL CLASS
SPEED
NATIONAL HIGHWAY SYSTEM
TOLL
DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC
DESIGNATED NATIONAL NETWORK
TYPE OF SERVICE
FEDERAL LANDS HWY
8 EQUAL DESIRABLE CRITAPPR ROADWAY ALIGN
4 TOLERABLEDECK GEOMETRY
10.2 MAPPROACH RDWY WIDTH
BRIDGE MEDIAN
LEFT 0.0 M RIGHT 0.0 MCURB OR SIDEWALK
TOTAL WIDTH
NET WIDTH
10.2 MINVENTORY ROUTE TOTAL HORIZ CLEAR
99.99 MINVENTORY ROUTE MIN VERT CLEAR
3-ON FREE ROAD
07-MAJOR COLLECTOR RURAL
0-NOT STRAHNET
N-NONE EXISTS
2-2 WAY
0-NOT APPLICABLE
0-NOT ON NET
0 NO MEDIAN
1-HIGHWAY
DECK ROADWAY/OPERATIONAL INFORMATIONDECK GEOMETRY
0.33 ft br, 33.5 ft, 0.33 ft br
DECK CROSS SECTION
LRS INVENTORY RTE & SUBRTE
BASE HIGHWAY NETWORK 0-NOT ON NET
- NOT APPLICABLE FOR THIS BRIDGE.
4 inchesOVERLAY THICKNESS (inches)
N/A
(51)
(52)
(50)
(32)
(33)
(107)
(108)
A)
B)
C)
(29)
(30)
(19)
(114)
(115)
(37)
(42a)
(12)
(13)
(104)
(26)
(100)
(101)
(102)
(10)
(47)
(68)
(72)
(105)
(110)
(20)
(28a)
(103)
CONDITION INFORMATION
10.4 MLENGTH (49)
Element DescriptionElem
No.
Env Total
Qty
Units
CS 1 CS 2 CS 3 CS 4
Qty in each Condition State
38 Slab-RC
Cracking (RC and Other)
Deck Wearing Surface-Asphalt
2
2
2
108
2
106
sq.m
each
sq.m
106
0
106
1
1
0
1
1
0
0
0
0
DECK ELEMENT INSPECTION RATINGS AND NOTES
Defect/
Prot
1130
510
Defect
(38) Slab-RC
(38-1130) Cracking (RC and Other)
Crack gauges were marked with crack width and date at the cracks at the abutment/slab interface for future monitoring.
