No defect is warranted at this time. <br />The following was noted during the April 2006 inspection, but could not be verified on this date: <br />Girder 2 in Span 2 has a 4 inch x 2 inch spall with rebar exposed near Pier 3. There is an outstanding work recommendation dated <br />10/06/2004 to clean the rebar and patch the spall. <br />Non-Routine Inspection Element Notes: <br />UWI (05/09/2014): Two transverse spalls were noted at the bottom of Girder 1 in Span 3, near Pier 3. Each is 6 inches long x 3 <br />inches wide x 1 inch deep. Minor rust staining was observed, but no section loss was detected. <br />UWI (05/27/2020): See Table 3 of the report from AECOM. There are 5 linear feet (2 meters) of girder spalls with associated exposed <br />reinforcing with section loss. A hands-on inspection of exposed reinforcing steel was not possible by the diver.
