See Photo 1. <br />DECK AND ROADWAY <br />There are up to 0.5 inch wide, spaced 2 to 8 feet on center, transverse cracks present in the AC approaches at both ends of the bridge. <br />The AC approach within 1 to 2 feet of Abutment 3 appears to have settled approximately 1 to 2 inches when compared to the deck of the <br />RC slab. In addition, a 1 to 3 inch gap has developed between the AC approach and RC slab at both abutments. The gap is filled with <br />dirt, debris and vegetation.
