The cracks
are visible in the bare deck and through the reflective cracking in the AC chip seal. Based on a comparison to the
03/25/2019 Photo 8, this condition has remained unchanged.
There is a 0.031 inch wide longitudinal crack in the soffit of the RC slab, located at midspan and the centerline of the bridge
in Span 1. Based on a comparison to the 03/25/2019 Photo 9, this condition has remained unchanged.
These conditions affect approximately 5% of the total deck area.
Cracking is present in the AC chip seal over the noted cracking in Defect 1130 of Element 28. The cracks in the AC were
typically up to 0.125 inch in width. The condition did not warrant a defect of Element 510.
There are up to 18 inch long x 4 inch wide potholes located from the left side of Abutment 1 to the centerline of Abument 3.
The potholes appear to have been caused by a piece of tracked equipment. This condition is more severe at both
abutments. See Photos 2 and 3.
This condition affects approximately 5% of the chip seal area.
(58) 7DECK RATING =
(36a) Rail Code 0000
330 Railing-Metal
Distortion
Damage
2
2
2
33
2
2
m
each
each
31
0
0
2
2
2
0
0
0
0
0
0
JOINT/APPROACH/RAIL ELEMENT INSPECTION RATINGS AND NOTES
1900
7000
RAIL INFORMATION
(36b) Transition (36c) Appr Guardrail (36d) Appr Guardrail End 55Roadway Speed MPH
JOINT - APPROACH - RAIL
Element DescriptionElem
No.
Env Total
Qty
Units
CS 1 CS 2 CS 3 CS 4
Qty in each Condition StateDefect/
Prot Defect
MBBR
Rail Type
Right/Left
Location
112
Length (ft)
On steel W6 posts without stiffeners
Rail Modifications
