This condition <br />Non-Routine Inspection Element Notes: <br />Non-Routine Inspection Element Notes: <br />UWI (08/05/2020): In addition to the CS 2 checks noted under the 1150 defect the following defect was observed on Bent 4, Column <br />1: In the southwest quadrant at the waterline there is a 24 inch high by 12 inch wide by 2 inch deep area of decay equating to <br />between 10% and 20% section loss (see Photos). This column was drilled with a 3/8 inch auger and no internal decay was noted. (1 <br />each, CS 3) <br />UWI (08/05/2020): The following columns have checking between 5% and 50% of the member thickness and are in CS 2 (most of the <br />checking is closer to the 5% criteria): <br />Bent 2, Columns 1 to 4, <br />Bent 3, Columns 1 to 4, <br />Bent 4, Columns 2 and 3. <br />(10 each, CS 2) <br />Bent 4, Column 4 had a check that slightly exceeded 50% of the member depth and is in CS 3. <br />(1 each, CS 3) <br />The stringers in Spans 1 to 4 have been replaced with new untreated glulam girders.
