See Photo 2 dated
06/26/2018. For coding purposes, this is considered a bare concrete deck.
There are a few longitudinal cracks on the soffit with light efflorescence that extend from each abutment up to 8 feet. (See Photo 4
dated 06/08/2022). This condition has been previously reported and no significant changes were noted.
The deck riding surface has longitudinal cracks up to 0.08 inches wide and spaced as close as 18 inches on center that extend from
each abutment and near the pier approximately 8 feet. There are a few similar transverse cracks developing from the longitudinal
cracks. These cracks are generally mirrored on the slab soffit, which are hairline in size. (See Photo 5 dated 06/08/2022). This
condition has been previously reported and no significant changes were noted.
There is soot from a matress fire on the Span 2 side of Pier 2. A defect is not warranted at this time.
There were no significant defects noted.
(58) 5DECK RATING =
(36a) Rail Code 0000
330 Railing-Metal 2 19 m 19 0 0 0
JOINT/APPROACH/RAIL ELEMENT INSPECTION RATINGS AND NOTES
RAIL INFORMATION
(36b) Transition (36c) Appr Guardrail (36d) Appr Guardrail End 55Roadway Speed MPH
JOINT - APPROACH - RAIL
(330) Railing-Metal
Element DescriptionElem
No.
Env Total
Qty
Units
CS 1 CS 2 CS 3 CS 4
Qty in each Condition StateDefect/
Prot Defect
There were no significant defects noted.
