This condition
does not warrant a defect at this time.
The pile element is included to indicate the presence of piles on this structure. The piles were not exposed for visual inspection. No
indication of pile distress was noted in any substructure element.
There are multiple delaminations in the diaphragm between the girders at both abutments. The delaminations are up to 7 feet tall x 2
feet wide. (See Photo 4 dated 60/06/2022). This condition is outside of the girder elements, therefore, does not warrant a defect.
There is a single diagonal crack less than 0.01 inches wide in the exterior face of Girder 1 near the Hinge 2 seat that extends
approximately 5 feet. (See Photo 4 dated 06/26/2018). This condition has been previously reported and no significant changes were
noted.
This element has been added to represent the elastomeric bearings located at Pier 2 and the exterior of the Span 2 hinge that are
visible for inspection.
There were no significant defects noted.
The enclosed bearing element is included to indicate the presence of bearings on this structure. The bearings were not exposed for
visual inspection. No indication of distress or alignment problems were noted in any superstructure element associated with bearings.
