All the submerged bents were probed and <br />waded with a 20 foot extension pole. No access limitations were encountered on the rest of the structure. A complete routine inspection <br />was performed. <br />DECK AND ROADWAY <br />The previously noted missing spacer blocks in the Abutment 9 right approach guard rail have been replaced with new spacer blocks and <br />posts. Refer to Photo 1. <br />The Abutment 1 AC approach has several longitudinal and transverse tar sealed cracks. The Abutment 9 AC approach also has several <br />unsealed primarily transverse cracks up to 0.2 inch wide by 15 foot long. In the right lanes of Abutment 9 approach there are several AC <br />segments up to 3 feet wide x 1.5 feet long that have been uplifted up to 3 inches. One of the segments has broken up and formed a <br />pothole up to 2 foot wide x 1 foot long x 3 inch deep. Refer to Photos 2 through 5. <br />WATERWAY <br />A channel cross section was taken during this inspection and is included in this report. A comparison was made with the previous cross <br />section taken on 01/12/2015.
