The outer edge of Bay 4 has exposed rebar, up <br />to 2 feet in length, that occupy 25% of the span length. There are several other areas with exposed reinforcement near Bent 31, but it <br />is primarily at the edge of Bay 4. Refer to Photo 7. <br />(12-1120) Efflorescence/Rust Staining <br />There are hairline soffit cracks with efflorescence in random locations in the truss deck. The efflorescence is primarily located in the <br />first half of the deck and is most visible from Bent 31. The efflorescence occupies approximatly 15 percent of the deck area. Refer to <br />Photo 7. <br />(12-510-3210) Delam./Pothole-AC (WS) <br />There is a 16 foot x 4 foot area near Pier 31 where the AC overlay has worn off. Refer to Photos 9 through 11. <br />There is a 1 foot diameter by 1.5 inch deep soffit spall with exposed rusted reinforcing bars in the left edge of Span 22.
