The <br />more severe cracks are longitudinal in direction and are located within a section 6 feet wide along the centerline of the bridge. The <br />cracking affects approximately 20% of the total slab area. (See Photos 12 and 13 dated 03/19/2019). See Photo 4. <br />(38-510) Deck Wearing Surface -Asphalt <br />There are up to 0.1 inch wide longitudinal cracks near the centerline and transverse cracks over the bents. The cracks occupy up to <br />10 percent of the AC surface, but do not constitute a defect yet.
