Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, CA 95209 <br /> Dear Mr. Ferguson: <br /> Re: Oakwood Lake, Mine I.D. 91-39-0001, EP-83-1 <br /> In your letter of June 23, 2004, you indicated that Beck Properties accepted an <br /> assignment of the above Quarry Excavation Permit from Brown Sand Inc. and you <br /> requested that the Interim Management Plan (IMP) of June 2000 be renewed. I will <br /> notify the Department of Conservation in writing that Beck Properties has accepted the <br /> assignment of the Quarry Permit. <br /> I have enclosed a copy of the approved IMP. That document describes the status of the <br /> mine and indicates how the conditions of the Quarry Permit will remain implemented. <br /> Please review that document and up date it for the requested renewal. Also, please <br /> indicate how long you would like the renewal to be effective. You may request a renewal <br /> for up to five additional years. When I receive your completed request, I will refer it to <br /> the Department of Public Works for a short review period before taking action on it.
