GENERAL NOTES <br /> 1. Through traffic shall be maintained at all times. <br /> (; 2. All intersection radii within project limits shall be sealed to lip of <br /> Y. C0119t. existing curb and gutter or edge of pavement. <br /> 3. Before Rubberized Chip Seal is to be applied to any area, the <br /> EPEP Contractor shall protect all utility covers, including but not limited to <br /> Variable Width _ maintenance holes, water valves, and survey monuments. <br /> 4. Surface preparation work shall be as directed by the Engineer. <br /> Locations and dimensions of pavement repair and crack sealing will <br /> Rubberized Chip Seal- be determined by the Engineer and shall be completed prior to <br /> placing Rubberized Chip Seal. <br /> 5. Rubberized Chip Seal shall not be placed on any bridge deck or <br /> railroad crossing locations. <br /> 6. All Pavement Repair and Crack Sealing must be completed <br /> -_-- - 48 hours prior to placement of rubberized chip seal. <br /> —Existing Roadway 7. Portable changeable message signs shall be placed one in each direction <br /> of traffic, approaching project limits, seven days prior to work <br /> commencing at a given location. <br /> TYPICALSECTION B.
