LLNL Emergency Plan
Rev-22
January 2017

111
Following an exercise, each venue conducts a hot-wash of exercise events. An all-hands critique,
to include representatives from all venues, is also held. Critique information is documented, and
deficiencies and observations are developed. Deficiencies and observations are then analyzed
and corrective action plans are developed, if applicable. Modifications to organizational plans
and procedures as a result of these corrective actions are the responsibility of the individual
organizations.
An evaluation report, which is a compilation of comments and observations by the evaluators, is
developed per the format prescribed in Emergency Programs Organization plans/procedures for
drills and exercises. The report is reviewed by the Emergency Programs Exercise Planning
Committee for accuracy and completeness and delivered to NNSA/LFO within forty-five days
after the exercise. The Emergency Programs Organization publishes and distributes the final
report, and corrective actions for issues identified are developed in accordance with Emergency
Programs Organization plans/procedures.
14.2 Offsite Coordination
Exercise activities associated with offsite organizations are coordinated by the LLNL Offsite
Liaison. Scenario planning with participating offsite local, State, and Federal agencies, including
DOE HQ, is performed by the LLNL exercise planning team, and may be accomplished via
conference calls. Offsite partners of LLNL include, but are not limited to, Sandia National
Laboratories/California, LPFD, ACFD, LPD, Alameda County Office of Emergency Services,
the CHP, and the Zone 7 Water Agency.
