Defines the <br />Laboratory Emergency Planning Zones (EPZs), and provides information <br />on personnel accountability, emergency evacuation, communications, and <br />termination of protective actions. Provides general guidelines for reentry <br />during an Operational Emergency. <br />Section 9 Describes onsite medical facilities and capabilities, staff, and equipment. <br />Describes mutual aid agreements for offsite medical assistance. <br />Section 10 Describes the emergency public information program and organization that <br />provides information about the emergency to news media and the public. <br />Includes a discussion of the Joint Information Center (JIC). <br />Section 11 Describes the criteria for termination of an Operational Emergency and the <br />transition to the recovery phase. <br />Section 12 Describes emergency preparedness program administration and document <br />control. <br />Section 13 Describes emergency preparedness training and drills for elements of the <br />ERO and describes training structure. <br />Section 14 Outlines the process for scheduling, coordinating, conducting, and <br />evaluating emergency preparedness exercises. <br />Section 15 Describes emergency preparedness readiness assurance, including self- <br />assessments, corrective actions, and lessons-learned. <br />
