Close all railcar doors. Once power is lost,the bucket elevator cannot transfer material without <br /> the compressor. It is important to close the rail car doors so fly ash does not continue to flow <br /> when boot lifts drop do to air lose. To close the doors, use the steel bar that is along the wall to <br /> the office. <br /> EMERGENCY-EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE <br /> Chain Of Command: <br /> 1. John Stephenson 209-628-7275 <br /> 2. Rod Hanson 435-979-0923 <br /> 3. Chris Hughes 801-513-8637 <br /> Possible Emergency Scenarios: The following are a list of potential results from a serious earthquake: <br /> 1. Cars de-rail. <br /> 2. Silos collapse. <br /> 3. Building collapse. <br /> 4. Tracks are damaged. <br /> Emergency Response Equipment Needs: If a rail car does de-rail,then contact Hulcher Services to have <br /> them send a crew out to lift the car back onto the tracks, assuming the tracks are in place and usable. <br /> Critical Plant Operations Shut Down Or Control: In the event of an earthquake, all systems should be <br /> shut down.Assuming that the plant is still standing, a visual inspection must be done to all equipment <br /> and structures before start up. This would include the following; <br /> 1. Structural damage to silos. <br /> 2. Damage to rail tracks. <br /> 3. Damage to scale. <br /> 4. Damage to plant air system (compressors, piping). <br /> 5. Physical damage to buildings that would question the structural safety. <br /> 6. All overhead structures. <br /> 7. Electrical system. <br /> Personnel Evacuation and Accounting: All personnel will immediately cease operations, and proceed to <br /> the nearest safe area (see attached plot plan).
